Plain English, and short enough to actually read. These govern every quote, order and render we supply.

ARIWU Studio is a business name of ARIWU Pty Ltd ("we", "us"). These terms govern every quote, order and render we supply, and by sending us a drawing or accepting a quote you agree to them.
We supply architectural visualisation. We are not architects, building designers, engineers or certifiers, we do not provide design, planning or compliance advice, and nothing we produce is a construction document.
Our renders are illustrative artist's impressions produced from the drawing you supply. They are not to scale, not measured, and not a substitute for approved plans, engineering documentation or a surveyor.
Materials, colours, finishes, planting, lighting and surroundings are indicative. Screen and print reproduction of colour varies. A finished building will differ from its render.
Our renders are produced using AI-assisted image generation alongside manual direction and review. We disclose this openly and you may tell your own customers.
If you publish a render in marketing, you are responsible for how it is presented to consumers, including any disclaimer your obligations under the Australian Consumer Law require. Do not present a render as a photograph of a completed building.
You warrant that you own the drawing you supply, or have the right to give it to us for this purpose, and that our rendering it will not infringe anyone's copyright, moral rights, confidence or contract.
You indemnify us against any claim arising from that warranty being wrong. We rely on it completely: we have no way to verify who drew a drawing or who owns it.
You keep all rights in your drawing. We use it only to produce your render and we do not pass it to anyone else.
Once the invoice is paid in full, you receive an unrestricted, perpetual licence to use the render for any purpose connected with the home it depicts - brochures, signboards, listings, social media, display suites and advertising.
Until payment is made in full, the render remains ours and may not be published.
We may show the render in our own portfolio and marketing. Tell us in writing before delivery if you would rather we did not, and we will not. Where a drawing carries a client's name, street address or job number, we remove those details as standard.
We aim to deliver a standard single-storey residential facade within 24 to 48 hours of receiving a usable drawing and your material selections. That is a target, not a contractual deadline, and it does not run while we are waiting on information from you.
If we think a job will take longer, we tell you before we start.
If an element your drawing specifies is missing from the render, or is the wrong kind of thing, or is out of character with the drawing, that is our error and we correct it at no charge. Tell us within 14 days of delivery. As clause 2 says, a render is an impression rather than a measured drawing, so exact dimensions are not what is being promised.
Changes to the design itself, to material selections after work has begun, or to the brief, are new work and are quoted separately.
We quote each job individually. Quotes are fixed, in Australian dollars, and exclude GST, which is added where it applies. We do not publish a price list, so the quote you are given is the price.
Invoices are payable within 7 days unless we agree otherwise in writing. We may hold delivery of files until an invoice is paid.
From time to time we offer a render at no charge, as a sample or under a promotion. Any such offer, its terms and its limits are stated wherever it is made; nothing here creates one.
Where an offer is running we may decline any enquiry and may withdraw it at any time. Taking one up puts you under no obligation to buy anything, and the render is yours either way under clause 4.
You may cancel before we begin work at no cost. Once work has begun we charge for what has been done.
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies those guarantees, and nothing here should be read as trying to.
To the extent the law allows, and other than for those guarantees, our liability for any claim connected with a render is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the render or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost sales, or for any loss arising from a decision made in reliance on a render rather than on approved plans.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
If any part of them is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
We may update these terms. The version published when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
